The Women’s Affairs Unit at Hillah University, in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy and as part of the college’s continuing education curriculum, held a scientific symposium entitled “Time Management.” The symposium was delivered by Dr. Tayeb Ali, a lecturer at the College of Pharmacy.
The symposium was attended by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy and a number of department professors. The symposium defined time management as the process of organizing activities and tasks in an effective manner to achieve goals with minimal effort and on time.
Dr. Tayeb Ali explained that to improve time management, goals must first be clearly defined and an organized plan must be developed that includes all priorities. She also noted the importance of avoiding distractions and focusing on the most important tasks, allocating specific time for each activity.
At the conclusion of the symposium, the lecturer discussed some organizational tools, such as timetables or digital applications to track progress. She emphasized that periodic reviews of achievements and continuous planning are key factors in improving time management and increasing productivity..
